Me and little tunny

Yesterday we decided to take a break from the river and visit the big nothing.  The weather channel said 1 - 2 foot seas, the Ft. Pierce buoy reported 1.3 feet, but as far as we were concerned it was like rising on a sheet of glass.  We didn't notice the swell at all, the big boys heading out 30 miles caused more waves than mother nature did.  We came unprepared, we only had one live mullet -- about a foot long -- and nothing was biting on cut bait or live shrimp.  The mullet did bring me a workout, that pole only had 20# test mono so I had to be careful not to break off but still not get spooled.
